Would a 14k necklace with cubic zirconia rust?

How about white 14k white gold? I know that silver rusts and I don't want a silver necklace chain . I was debating against a 14k white gold or yellow gold chain. I know that yellow gold is made with gold , copper and silver and white gold is composed of nickel , cooper and gold. Also if one does rust if I clean it with jewelrey cleaner will it be good as new? And can it be a piece of jewelrey that can last forever ( I mean if I don't lose it) . Best answer gets ten points . Thank you!
