Buying a Cubic Zirconia (cz) wedding set?

I never been a big fan of trying to keep up with joneses. I learned from my parents that money isn't everything. So, that's how I live my life. Instead of going broke trying to have name brands. I'm able to save by shopping at stores that sell name brands or etc for less less!! Anyways, my fiance and I are getting married at the end of this year! At the moment, we are looking at rings! He wants to spend almost $2,000 on this ring and I don't approved!! Sorry, it's just not me!! However, I'm looking at CZ rings because they are cheaper and look so beautiful. I would rather go cheap on my wedding and have money saved for the future! I don't understand how people go all out for a wedding, when truthful it's not all about that! Anyways, I'm kind of crossed up as to what kind of cz ring to get!! I know for a fact I don't want gold..Because I'm a big fan of silver looking! I'm not looking for anything over 2.00 ct because then it would look fake!! I would like to know what kind of ring to go for, if I want something that looks more real and will last a little longer before fading!! I know nothing about stone color, metal, carats, weight, or etc...Can someone maybe give me a measurement or description of what to look/go for if I want a cz ring that's looks real and will not fade so quickly! Also, what about silver plated rings or CT rings?? Thanks alot!!
