Stud earring stuck inside earlobe!?

This is my 4th ear piercing attempt. They've closed up the first 3 times. But my stud earring is doing exactly what they did b4. I've tried sterling silver, titanium, and now 14 ct gold. The actual stud (cubic zirconia part) is partly inside my ear. If I push on the back, the stud will pop out. This has happened to me b4 and I am wondering should switch to small 14 ct gold hoops? What do I do to shrink the hole?
