Why buy diamond earings when you can buy cubic zirconia?

I have diamond earings but ive had them or a long time and they seem like they are too small for my ear now. Im gonna get bigger ones but i dont understand why buy diamond earings when you can buy cubic zirconia? Its so much cheaper and they look the same. I want new earings but i dont have the money for real diamonds.
