I think I just found diamond earrings but not sure?

Ok so I was looking under my bed and there were these earrings that appeared to be made of diamonds and gold but I thought surely there can't just be real diamond earrings hiding under my bed... So I used the glass test and scratched the tip of one of the diamonds on my water glass and it easily made a scratch in the glass. Does this mean I have real diamonds? Or can cubic zirconia scratch glass too? Thanks!! I really wanna know if I have real diamonds or not!
