My 10 month lab mix keeps running through the invisible fence, how can I train him to stay in?

I went through the whole training process with him and he did really good for awhile, now ever time he sees a bird or animal he darts right through with no reaction to the shock, I know the collar works I tested it on myself, it works! What can I do to keep him in the yard?
