Mania giving me insomnia, help me sleep?

When my son has mania he doesn't want to sleep and it's exhausting for me to watch. I tell him to have a bath, warm milk, herbal tea etc and i think it may slow him down a bit though that's from an observers point of view. I'm usually his taxi service driving him around all night to visit relatives, get fast food and driving to the city.
