Ugly Jewelry from parents for wedding?

My wedding jewelry was fake, I ordered a crystal illusion necklace & bracelet off the internet! And a second bracelet that was rhinestones. No one expects the bride to have head to toe diamonds, I mean it's not the Oscars, it's a wedding. My mom wanted me to wear 2 gold bracelets that belonged to my grandmas but they went better with her dress than mine so I told her to wear them instead. I did wear an heirloom dinner ring on my right hand but other than that my jewelry wasn't real gemstones.
